About Ava Val
Ava Val is a transgender comedian, actor, writer and musician based out of Toronto.
Her honest and insightful-yet-silly & spontaneous account of her transgender journey has turned heads across North America, earning her repeat appearances at renowned festivals such as Just For Laughs, JFL Toronto and Vancouver, Off-JFL/Zoofest, the Winnipeg and Ha!ifax Comedy Festivals, The Arctic Comedy Festival, and many others, as well as earned her a writing role on the 30th season of "This Hour Has 22 Minutes". Though she has taped numerous standup performances for CBC Gem, Crave, & CTV, has a new standup comedy special "So Brave" coming soon, hosts her own podcast "PodGis", and was a lead cast member on OutTV's "Drag Heals" season 3, Ava Val is surely an act that must be seen in person to be believed - and celebrated!
About Kyle Brownrigg
Kyle is an LGBTQ comic based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Kyle Brownrigg is a JUNO Award winning comedian for his sophomore comedy album “A Lylebility.” In 2019 he was a finalist in SiriusXM's Top Comic Competition, one of JFL42's New Faces, was selected for the prestigious Just for Laughs Homegrown show, and as a result he was awarded the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Breakout Artist.
In May 2022 Brownrigg released his debut Just for Laughs comedy special 'Introducing Lyle' on Crave which was one of the highest trending comedy specials of the year. Kyle can be seen on many television series such as Roast Battle Canada, The Standup Show with Jon Dore, Comedy Night with Rick Mercer, Humour Resources, The New Wave of Stand-up, and The Halifax Comedy Festival on CBC. He is also a regular on the hit CBC Radio show The Debaters.
Kyle is also a national touring stand-up comedian that has performed across the entire country including the Arctic. With his years of experience and unique style of joke writing and delivery, Kyle Brownrigg is certainly someone you don't want to miss.
About Tige Wright
Tige has been touring Canada since 2017 and finally broke into the U.S. just as COVID-19 came onto the scene. Fortunately, his timing on stage is much better! A master storyteller with a unique comedic voice Tige combines his real-life experiences with his untraditional view of the world and the people who live in it. His show is very much like the man himself, intelligent, funny, and too quick for some! He's done everything from producing shows in coffee shops the size of a shoebox to performing in theatres, off-grid private events to resort-casinos. "Please don't suggest anything dirty" to "We bet you can't make us blush" and he loves them all.
